R.I.P. Meat Loaf Marvin Lee Aday Died at 76
This Friday, we have sad news to report: Marvin Lee Aday Meat Loaf, the renowned singer and actor, has died at the age of 74. The 'Bat Out Of Hell' singer sold over 100 million records and starred in 65 films, including possibly his most famous portrayal in Fight Club.
Meatloaf, who was born Marvin Lee Aday in 1974, died on Thursday, according to Meat Loaf family's statement posted on Facebook.
According to the statement, “Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight surrounded by his wife Deborah, daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends,”
"During his incredible six-decade career, he sold over 100 million records worldwide and starred in over 65 films, including "Fight Club," "Focus," "Rocky Horror Picture Show," and "Wayne's World." The album "Bat Out of Hell" is still in the top ten best-selling albums of all time.We understand how much he meant to so many of you, and we are grateful for all of your love and support as we grieve the loss of such an inspirational artist and wonderful guy. We appreciate your consideration of our need for privacy at this time. Don't ever stop rocking!" says his heart to your souls.
MeatLoaf big-screen credits include The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Wayne's World, Spice World: The Movie, and, most recently, Beautiful Boy.
